Herbaria: The Pressed Plant Collection of Beatrix Farrand is a beautifully curated set of 12 notecards and envelopes, showcasing the botanical artistry of Beatrix Farrand (1872–1959), one of the foremost landscape architects of the early 20th century.
Farrand was renowned not only for designing over two hundred private gardens across the United States and Great Britain but also for her meticulous preservation of plant specimens from her Maine garden, Reef Point.
She pressed and cataloged over nine hundred plant specimens, creating a lasting botanical archive.
